About the conference
The II World Conference on Family Health “Health at the time of crises and wars”
shall be the continuation of the debate on the family health situation of the 1st World Conference, which took place on 9-10 June 2019. The goal of the conference is to create the international forum of Polish and international research exchange and analysis, an attempt to identify the new research fields, discussion about the contemporary threats to family health during times of crisis and war. Plenary sessions and panel sessions shall be focused on the following topics:
– Overview of health development in Poland with special attention to years 1990-2020
– Family Healthcare in Poland, Israel, Mozambique, and Ukraine
– Recent development of health situation in the Central European countries
– Coronavirus pandemic
– Smoking and tobacco-related health burden
– Alcohol consumption and the burden of alcohol-related diseases
– Human rights in times of armed conflicts
During the inauguration of the event, the Doctor Honoris Causa of Calisia Academy- Kalisz, Poland, shall be granted to professor Theodor Meron, an exemplary lawyer and a world-class expert on international humanitarian and criminal law.
